PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS ANGEL
On August 21, 2012...The family of Clarion Malaya Wood was brought to their knees with the news of their 7 month old baby girl being diagnosed with a brain tumor. Surgery was done but only 10% was removable. The pathology report showed it to be an ATRT, malignant cancer that is aggressive and attacks the central nervous system! This is the brain and spinal areas. Since the diagnosis, Malaya has had to undergo numerous surgeries and chemo treatments. She is a precious shining light for so many people around the world that have come together for God's Glory to be revealed through Malaya's journey. There are testimonies of people giving their life to God, Parents rededicating their life to God and to their children. People around the world have posted their burden for Malaya along with so many stories of people who do not even know the family are waken through the night with her face on their minds and are led to pray for Malaya!
February 14, 2013...After several rounds of chemo and a stem cell transplant Malaya returned to her home in Mississippi. Check out the awesome video of her surprise homecoming (it is on Malaya's Video page on this website). Malaya will have another MRI in March. Continue to pray for her and her family as they decide how to proceed with treatments for Malaya.
April 3, 2013...Malaya was admitted to the Children's Hospital in Birmingham , Alabama to begin another round of chemo treatments. Please join me in praying for Malaya to be healed from this cancer. Her family also needs prayers for God to sustain them and give them strength to keep fighting during this difficult time.
